I was skeptical on how effective this would really be on ice, as that seems to be the biggest hurdle when it comes to weather issues and my car. I hate having to wait for the car to pump out enough heat through the defroster vents to melt the entire windshield. This helps so much! The element is surprisingly effective in melting ice and frost, while the scraper and squeegee help remove the rest. I love that it has a built in flashlight, as well as the fact that the cigarette lighter outlet plug fits directly into the handle so it's less likely to get damaged. I really wish I had this in December.
