The product as received was exactly as described. The clean plastic should be handled a little delicately to prevent inadvertent scratches. Once installed it looks and behaves precisely as I had hoped for. The license plate is clearly visible and without any reflections. I have installed a small weatherstrip on its edges to prevent moisture getting behind the shields. I am pleased and satisfied with this product.
