In the PNW we get frozen mornings that sometimes the frost will stay on the windshield all day. I used to scrap the ice- which I do not enjoy the sound of it makes me cringe- so when I saw these electric ice melter I had to order them, one for me and one for my hunny, All you do is plug into the 12volt or cig lighter and swipe across frozen windshield. It was that easy, then I wrapped up the cord and tucked it away in the backseat. Super easy to use does a great job too,
