I purchased this item for myself. I travel 2 hours one way for work - and the 4 hour round trip was really getting to me. This product has made those trips so much more relaxing, with the added benefit that once I get home, I can unplug it from the car and take it to bed with me!!! I know that's probably not a practical use, and might cause it to not last as long, but for now, it's helping me get through a time that's harsh on my body. I use it on all my travel, and then fall to sleep on it. I work long nights as a nurse and can't tell you how good it feels to get a good 'days' sleep because it massages me into a lovely slumber. I just lie it across my bed, plug it in, lay on top and drift away! If sleeping on it makes it die before it's time, then I'll just bloody well buy myself another one! --- as for the friend I bought the second one for, he uses it on his drive to work (35 minutes), then takes it into work for his work chair - he sits all shifts at a computer/phone controlling trucking deliveries. His coworkers are SO jealous! I'll highly recommend the product.
