Used these all winter in my vehicle. I installed them under my seat covers. I used the drivers side more, but having dual heaters was great. Once plugged, you just turned them on with middle button and adjusted temperature. They do after awhile turn off and Im sure its a built in safety feature. But by then your vehicle is heated up from driving. You can always turn it back on. . Highly recommend them if your vehicle does not have them.
